Biography:
Bebop is a fictional character from the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series. He is a mutated warthog and one of Shredder's dimwitted henchmen, alongside Rocksteady.
Initially a human gang member, Bebop, along with his partner Rocksteady, volunteered to be mutated by Shredder in an attempt to gain the strength to defeat the Turtles. The process transformed him into a hulking warthog, retaining his punk rock hairstyle and often wearing a vest with the TMNT logo crossed out.
Bebop's incompetence and lack of intelligence usually undermine Shredder's plans. He is frequently seen alongside Rocksteady, and their constant failures are a recurring source of humor in the cartoon. Bebop first appeared in the episode "Turtle Tracks" of the 1987 cartoon.
